Mondays are raw, by that I mean you are experiencing a terrible truama of moving from freedom to the working week in a way that hits you at no other time with quite such force.
By wednesday we have either gone numb or our adrenalin is back up [depending on how individuals feel about thier jobs] and thursday/friday is always more bearable because we can feel that the weekend is just around the corner.
Thankyou for your contributions, and I know I half reiterated one of Hatedjealousy’s points there, but the point is that I’ve got to accept that I can’t do anything about that monday morning feeling and I’ll just have to keep on getting on with it.
Good luck with the marathon, Jeff. I did four when I was in my twenties and you’ll be okay if you’ve done the training and you don’t over pace yourself.
May I add my congratulations, Heather?
I may not have crossed posts with you yet and I’m still very much on an upward curve as far as learning about BB goes but it always nice to see hard work rewarded!

Seriously, I quite like Pro-Evolution Soccer 6, although only when I play the machine.
Everytime I play another person we end up with a bore-draw, just cancelling everything the other person tries out all the time.
Mind you it is not looking like there will be a draw this month.
It’s time the title saw some fresh blood anyway!

I just have the cross on mine, no pencil symbol, but that’s okay the cross is all I need to get rid of unwanted scores.
The cross had gone missing at the time of my query and I couldn’t figure out whether it was a temporary blip [which it obviously was] or if I was imagining that there used to be one on this game because it was still there on other games.

I’m confused because I’m sure that you were allowed to delete your scores on “Asteroids” but now it isn’t letting me do it.
Has something changed or am I imagining this?

I can’t answer that Mr Soccer but today I inadvertently clicked on something that made little squares with red crosses appear next to every game and the word either “favourites” or “Add to favourites” came up next to this.
I had already noticed that when I click on “favourites” on the arcade nothing comes up so maybe this was my chance to make my own selection of preferred games rather than trawling through the 2 pages when I select “all” or maybe not finding the game I’m looking for when I select “random”.
It’s a great idea but the trouble is that I can’t remember what I clicked on because it happened accidentally.
Does anybody know how the “favourites” works?
Crikey, detn8r, that is one addictive game!
What I don’t understand is why it has registered me as taking 514 and 56 seconds to get exactly the same score when I don’t recall doing anything different in the two attempts.
Then, it shows me as taking 826 seconds to get my highest score when I feel sure I was only on there for about a minute!
Any ideas as to what is going on here?
Yes, i’m expanding my reportoire to get abit closer to your scores Mr Soccer.
i’d try Space Invaders again but it is so bloody boring…
