Oreo, I’m sorry I missed this when it was initially posted because the game you are describing sounds about right.
I was playing it in 85 [when arcades were still reasonably popular in the UK] and you could see the squares that had to be painted round.
My original post where I describe the aliens as being unable to touch the square as you are painting it is mistaken, thinking on I seem to remember that as long as you finished getting round the square without the Pacmen types hunting you down then that was fine.
But then it is more than two decades since I played it!
I just remember that I was pretty good at it; I could do with a game I am good at being introduced to this arcade!
😡
Leapy LeoMemberAfter you have posted 3 more times a small grey box appears at the top of the posts. It has a tick and a cross in it and if you click on this you can reward informative or entertaining posters with “reputation points”.
😎
Leapy LeoMemberHappy Christmas to everyone on the forum from me too.
Could do with some snow here in England. The Bookies are offering odds of 12 to 1 on their being even one flake of snow on X-mas day. A better bet would be “mildest Christmas on record”. I’m so disappointed. I wanted to get my sledge out of the shed and show my son how it’s done!
Oh and Jeff, it is definitely Billy Joel [circa 1980s] that you resemble…
😀
Leapy LeoMemberSadly I didn’t make the high scores at all this month!
:crying:
Guess I’ll have to expand my reportoire.
Leapy LeoMemberYes, do stick around and after you have 10 posts try not to be as good on the arcade games as Mr Soccer is because I’m tired of having my high scores beaten all the time!
Only joking Mr S.
😀
Leapy LeoMemberHi Trefoil,
Great name!
Leapy LeoMemberHey timee
Hope you got it working!
Leapy LeoMemberI havn’t heard of this day before [probably due to my UK location] but when I read Sarahtowney’s comment about the card industry I must admit it struck a chord with me.
I suppose people will always go for things like this; but do you really need a card to prove you care about somebody?
Leapy LeoMemberI just addressed the nickname issue on another thread without realising that I had coined it! Oh well…
Here’s to you
Mr Soccer
Leapy LeoMemberHello Sabrina and good luck with the nursing degree
Leapy LeoMemberOkay, Mr Soccer it is.
The echo is fine, Mr Soccer, infact it’s resounding all around the room as I type
HELLOOOO
There it goes now…
:woot:

It’s abit late to welcome you to the forum Soccer4 but I thought I would say hello anyway.
HELLOOOOOO!
😎
Leapy LeoMemberThat was an awesome reply Mr Sauce!
I really didn’t expect anybody else to remember it, let alone you and Mr Soccer [who is a formidable player of Arcade games himself!]…
The only trouble was I couldn’t get to play on the link so it was hard to tell whether it’s the same version I used to play or not, but at least I have a name to look out for now. Also, , I’m sure it was a roller, as in emulsioning roller, that was used in the version I used to play.
A huge thankyou for that.
😎
Leapy LeoMemberGood luck with your commitments, Jeff.
I always thought that the online indicator was a great idea because you know whether you are likely to get a quick answer on a subject you are interested in if you can see that the originator or mainplayer on a thread is online or not.
Trouble is alot of people choose to disable this option in their profile but I think that’s their loss!
😀
Leapy LeoMemberThere seems to have been continuing problems with MSN for the last couple of months. A server was described as “down” a couple of months ago, that got better, but then a whole load of new people began posting about the problems that they were experiencing with MSN who hadn’t had a problem since then…people in different areas, “served” by different servers, began to suffer the difficulties you describe or variations of them. My guess is that MSN have a big ongoing restructuring problem that they are not telling us much about…
