looked at my settings in ie connections never dial a connection is ticked . lan dosent apply to dial up connection..looking at tools in messenger connections i use aproxy server is not ticked nothing is in this .im going ok..
i have the same prob .i am on msn 6 on xp. but net meeting wasnt shown in the msn 6 card. had to go to programs to get it.but it is on my desk top not 6.my mate has it in his6 how come
look in your programs to see if anything reads personal firewall su ch as norton personal firewall.all i have is kerio personal firewall and its a free download and works ok with msn im . had to take norton off .
did it work before with other im. i have a creative 750 web cam and it works ok in msn 6.if you wave a personal firewall that could be a problem.
both are on msn 6 .im on win xp with 56k hes on win2000 with broadband pic clear but slowalmost stopped. sound wicked like an ailian and iv met a few of them..just drags out real slow cant make him out at all .. as i said everything is fine with friend onxp as well.:mad:
i have the same prob . bbb said it was because im on 56k line .yet whats anoying is i can have both pic and sound with other side of the world but trying to have a crack with my mate 3 miles away dosent workand hs on broadband
well installed msn 6 no prob works ok.but the same prob freezing when cam and mic are on together. works fine with voice only but cant take both.

my daughter and i use . net meeting . they said because she in on xp and myself on win 2000 msn wont work. so we just went on to net meeting with no bother. as far as iknow net meeting is part of win 2000 but not in xp’.
yes i am getting cut off the net in msn with voice and pics. this is talking to a friend who has broadband and only lives two mile away iknow i only have 56 k but funny .talking to my daughter in usa thousands of miles away we can talk and view each others webcam at the same time for hours with out beign cut off. using net meeting also when my daughter and i tryied to use msn we weretold we couldnt because one was on xp and the other on win 2000 how come
when i get cut off am i getting cut off messenger. or cut off the internet. with my 56k line. picture freezes and sound goes. but still my contact shows to be on line… i at this stage shut down the net and start over again a real pain takes afew minutes to come back on again any other help please. b band is not in my area. thank you.windaphoner i have keep conection alive in norton system works but dont know if it really works or not.
