yes louis im afraid it is .bought it here from dabs .com.unrappedit from box and took it with her in bag . great cam great pictures.she is thinking of awin loptop as the mac is in the office any way … should have waited .120 sterilin here 80 dollers there.
thanks habeem for your reply . but in the meantime i solved my prob by downloading drivers for my sound card which were waiting for me in windows updates working great mic that is ..but talking to my mate with camera on sound breaks up a lot.with camera off sound ok this is in yahoo…in msn we can only talk for a few seconds with pic and sound before i am cut off the air ,im on 56 k hes on broadband.
feel the rythem. great job went to win update and found drivers waiting for down load.downloaded and so far no crash didnt talk to anyone yet but can talk into mic and hold talk button down without crash never done that for a while thanks a lot.would you advise me to download all of the things like direct x9 and so on that windows up date has for me. thanks again
cant find drivers .on the disc that came with this card are four different num.Xwave-5100 Xwave6000 Xwave-7000 Xwave-512 plus XG s-yxg50 v3.1 went to yamaha site but got confused with all the crap .they want you to goin this and that no job for a fisherman.
i have just downloaded aim to try it and it went crash like the others.thinking as i am on aol. free phone rang their help line and they are always very helpful.not in this case said it was a free download .aim. and they wouldnt have a clue .must be my card this is three messengers all crashed. will change card if need be.thanks for trying
thanks habeem4999 for your reply the first iv had in a while.someone did mention sound card.my first card was onboard dont know what make .the card using now is an Xwave half duplex cheap. just on the crack ive downloaded logitech im video companion for msn 5’0 my friend did likewise but they cant see my cam this is supposed to work as well but dosent.do you think card would cause blue screne.both used to work for a bit.
i have been asking much the same question for weeks in this and other forums still havnt got any answers my pc crashes when i try to talk in yahoo and msn. sits fine ready to go greene bars lit up . start to talk bang down she goes. still no answers
