To answer your question, you can check to see both profile AND away. As I’m sure you know, there are services like SubProfile and the like that provide you with counters and other stuff. Away messages, however, probably require you to code it yourself, as I have never seen a “SubAway” service. Of course, it would require clicking a link. The script would work in the exact same way. Check out my profile and/or away message (if I am away, that is) to see an example of a customized profile/away (it’s all in the PHP!). My screenname is MasterNES.
