MemberIn my case, no I can’t IM them.
Melodeath
MemberWhy did it split my contacts up though?
Also would moving contacts between the groups and then switching back to Status mode do anything to my list?
Melodeath
MemberWell, it split my contacts into 2 groups, both with the same name (“Other Contacts”). I had all my contacts in one group I think, but it changed it.
It also changed the way the contact list sorts – from viewing who’s online and offline, to groups.
Other than that I’m not sure if it did anything.
Melodeath
MemberThank you for that.
I think running Windows Messenger messed up my contacts list 🙁
Melodeath
MemberThis has happened to me before as well. Except that it has lasted forever with the same buddy.
Melodeath
MemberThanks
Melodeath
MemberI tried, but there was no Yahoo Messenger entry in the Startup tab.
Melodeath
MemberI’m also running SP1.
Perhaps the issue is that we don’t have SP2?
Melodeath
MemberYes I have XP.
Melodeath
MemberThanks for the reply.
Bah, that never works, they just get angrier that you keep contacting them! haha

MemberDeadAIM isn’t really compatible (you can see some glitchy stuff int eh graphics), but the ad-blocking and chat log saving still work. That’s all I use DeadAIM for anyway, so I have kept it installed even though it’s glitchy.
Melodeath
MemberWhen he is online and I msg him, it just says he in not available.
I will tell him to re-add me to his buddylist.
Melodeath
MemberPlus I added him on the sn that I can see him on later than when I added him on my real sn. So, a max out limit is not probable.
I don’t see why he would be dishonest with me. if he didnt want to talk, he would have blocked me on the new sn as well.
Melodeath
Memberno. it says he’s offline, unless i get onto a different sn.
Melodeath
MemberThis is an old friend, so I know he didn’t block me. There’s no invisisbility either because I have one sn where I can see him online.
I’m running regular AIM with DeadAIM.
