My frame rate tops out at .73 fps, even though I have a Pentium 4, 2.0 mhz, 512 mb RAM, broadband connection measured up to 2.4 mb/sec. with firewalls open and a Logitech 4000 webcam.

My daughter told me recently that a similar webcam setup on her end began to operate at high speed with near real-time lifelike motion on its own, but it only lasted for about 30 seconds.

Mine just says super mode is unavailable, even though my setup seems to meet all the requirements for super webcam, as does the setup of the person on the other end.
