thanks for the response. If I could only get a script to check the online status server and send me an email then I’d be all set .. I just don’t know how to do that yet … I’ve been looking at stuff from the online status forum (http://www.onlinestatus.org) but haven’t stumbled onto anything helpful yet.

I’d like to see a feature that allowed you to get a notification on your mobile device when a person on your buddy list signed on .. similar to what their email filters will do. That way, when a buddy I don’t see very often logs on while I’m away from my computer, I’ll get a page and can log on to say hi to them.

Are you sick and tired of "Top 10" lists that don't really help you make decisions that will improve your life? That's a pet peeve of mine, too, and I'm doing something about it.
