Yeah, I knew about both of those options, but was really hoping to get rid of the damn box… I figured, with patch that does all that funky stuff, removing the box wouldn’t be a great issue.

I may try to contact the guys who made the patch.

Ah, yes. I’ve read the announcement on mess.be. I’m not really bothered by seurity message.

But I would love to get rid of “Type a personal message for your contacts” and “Turn on what I’m listening to”. Any clues?

Actually, I didn’t notice the updated messpatch for version 0732, as I was looking in the Messenger 7 section, which didn’t have a link. So I was using old Daniel’s cosmetic patch.

I got the new messpatch, works nice, but I still have two annoying things: Just below the Name and Status there is this “Type a personal message for your contacts” and a dropdown to switch on/off “Turn on what I’m listening to”. Any way to get rid of these?

And from this morning, I have an infomation message “For security reasons, some Messenger features have been turned off. You can still send and receive personal messages”. What?
