Well there is a software called status checker…..but i dont think its very reliable.If u still want it i can post the link here that is if its not against forum policy.

I have already done it :(..not only that i have added certain codes to filter.I do not accept pms from anyone who is not in my friends list,ignore chat invitations,closed sound alerts and lot more still i used to get those flood bombs:mad:.As last resort will try Y tunnel basic…..hope it works….thanks for u r suggestions.:)
Sigh:)…only if one could enjoy 6 cam,10 conf invitations and uncountable file transfers in one single window life would be fun…nope it isnt specially when u r in middle of a conversation with few friends..me personally feel like chokin that notty person who does that to me..:mad:

No one can not get infected just by recieving IM …..that is if u dont click on any link give to u in IM…which is a common con trick most ppl use….another con trick used these days is ppl will IM u and tell u that latest version of YM is out [ they say verion 6 is available…ITS NOT] and ask u to visit some site to download it…so be careful. Correct me if i am wrong:o

I read u r prob and i have few suggestions for u…correct me ppl if i am wrong…..but i think there could be few possibilities here1. He has managed to get some spy software in u r pc or trojon through which he comes to know when ever u log on [in any chat room it could be yahoo or msn]so how abt u get u r pc checked for ALREADY present spyware from someone who knows abt it rather then adding firewalls.
2.By stalking u like this he is commiting a crime and u can lodge a complaint to police abt it and hopefully they will take care of it.Just one advice as a woman to u do not show him[ the stalker] that how harrased u r by his actions ..these sick men thrive on it…the best thing to do would be to not show any emotion…period
3.How abt u also keep track of few things abt him as to what is his time zone? like what are the times he seems to be “present” then u can have a rough guess as to what is his location.Avoid those times.

Thanks a lot Jeff for clearing up the matter for me cause i always thought firewalls can protect against trojan as they ask u before sending any info out….one more things that i been thinking about is how to make my pc run faster ?are these free software which boast of makin u r pc run faster or fasten u r connection speed really work?? i have asked this to friends and got two very diff replies.1.”its not a case that free software is bad, in fact my pc is loaded with it yet it runs fast 20 seconds from switching it on to being online, the thing is not to feed it bad free stuff like sum free screensaver . a lot of the free crap in pc is actaully there to make it run faster and more efficient,if it wasnt for these the pc wud be running about as fast as wen i used to be able to switch it on and make a cup of tea before it loaded up “

can make ur pc run slow…..Antivirus is of no use at all….i never ever had an antivirus in my pc ….. Most of the trojans are not detected even by uptodate antivirus ( 90% ppl dont update their antivirus ).Programs like tweak master do help…they can run ur pc faster but if u dont know how to set it u can end up in making ur pc much
slower..so my advice will be to avoid any free software..cause most of free stuff is junk.
The best way to keep ur pc smooth is avoid crap ….Increasing ur ram helps if u ever think abt upgrading ur pc dont waste ur money on a cpu get a good hard disk & get 512mb ram (anything above 512mb is of no use). Run scandisk & disk

Sav:)there are two options
1.Go to prefrences and use the option where u can block pms
2. If u do not want to block pms then how abt putting the pests on ignore…u can put ignore on the person who is trying to add u as a friend.

My problem is solved…..did a clean unistall….then downloaded 5.5 working great till now and i added new secret smilies too[grinnin again….beginin to look like cheshire cat] thanks for u r time and space.

yup nothing happens and what do u mean whne u say has my computer denied access…….i have unistalled it and then again downloaded it still same prob…….help me ASAP or i will perish in yahoo rooms

i am still duh! yes when i click on rooms i can see a list of all yahoo rooms but when i click on user rooms nothing comes …screen remains blank……..i have changed ids…..but still nothing i can go to yahoo rooms but not to privtae rooms…..can anyone tell me why? and how to get rid of my probs……
