I am wondering actually if it is not the power supply and/or the outlet…something similar happened to me like this with another laptop and that was a solution. I am going to go out and get a new power supply and see if tha might solve the problem.
OreoMemberWell….stranger things are happening now…I’m determined to figure this out…a hairline fracture sounds like an interesting possibility. I let the battey die, I turned it on and got that page where you can start normally or start in safe mode. I chose safe mode…it started to go through all of these files on the black screen (the one where it gives you the choice) THEN FROZE!
So I left it alone for a few more hours, let the battery die again, started it up got the same screen but started as normal. I even got through the part where I have to enter the password to get the PC started and it started to load programs. All seemed well then POOF! The fans stopped and it went black…(the wireless even connected). I got mad and left it alone the rest of the night.
Any thoughts? Or does my lappy need a cast? (INTO THE OCEAN! :O)November 16, 2006 at 6:32 pm in reply to: Battle of the 3s…360 or PS3?? Will there be a "Revolution" instead? #133183OreoMemberHee hee hee…I was also reading yesterday, that despite earlier reports the PS3 is not backwards compatible and some of the older games play all screwy…but it WILL have blueray capability….let’s just hope that’s the format that wins out…or that will also hurt PS3
OreoMemberI completely agree Niq…besides, if some one goes to ALL of those lengths just to see if some one else is online…that’s just sad. I mean, get a clue…things like that almost amount to stalker-like behaviour IMO.

I can see the headlines now, “American loses will to live as English girl kidnaps his laptop”.
Wait a second…if both of you are gone who the HECK I am supposed to talk to this weekend? My husband? HA! Medieval Total War 2 is out…I doubt he’ll be saying anything other than “ATTAAACK!”

OreoMemberEveryone is entitled to their opinions though…that’s part of what voting is all about. In the end it’s really up to people to check the facts for themselves and make up their own minds. Democrats, Republicans and Independants can all agree upon that. 🙂

OreoMemberWOW….you are just moving right along!! I hope you were able to keep up with those partying Poles!! 🙂 Thanks for the updates and the GREAT photos!
OreoMemberYou had buttons? Wow…I had to connect to sides of arrows and make my choice LOL…yeahhh..that’s what comes from not living in Miami I guess :p
OreoMemberI’m obviously alive as I’ve been actively posting…but what the heck…yup…I’m here.
OreoMemberAlso, what a lot of people do not get is that there is an unfortunate lack of difference between Democrats and Republicans….there’s not much of a “real” choice which is why some people just do not vote. I was lucky…in my state we had some third party candidates that were better than the mainstream…they did not win…but at least I was not forced to vote for people who I feel are completely corrupt and need the boot! I saw a great South Park on election night…the moral of the episode was in an election you basically have a choice between a huge douche bag and a turd sandwich….crude…yet so telling.
OreoMemberAwesome Jeff!! I am glad you made your flight and made it there safely!!! 🙂 I can imagine the food was pretty good and the Internet service was better than before 😀
OreoMemberActually only some states have a big stake in this mid-term election. I get so sick of propaganda around voting time…it really cheapens the whole process. But certainly vote if you want to, tiger, there are places on Yahoo! where you can edify yourself on the issues…the big ones in Wis. right now are the death penalty, gay marriage and govenor. But what that means to the rest of the world…probably not that much 😉
