Hello patnoris and thx for the welcome.
i was able to fix the sound problems, for some reason the default sound isn’t working so i tried with another sound and it worked now i just need help with the email alert since i still have trouble with it.

1. its a windows live hotmail account the one that im using to log into WLM
2.no im not using any third party software like Messenger Plus.

and for the last, yeah it was the first thing that i saw and everything was correct.

what i don’t get is that it was working just fine until last week that i had the problem with the older version and now i still have it, i seen that a lot of people been having trouble with older versions of WLM and haven’t found a fix.
