I have a T-Mobile Siemens cell phone which has AIM on it. I never set up my phone to have messages forwarded onto my phone, and if I did I have no idea how I did it. Last month I received a bill for $561 for text messages with AIM that I never placed on my phone. I just now found out that when I use the same screen name on my computer, I get charged 5 cents for each message on my phone. I followed many of the links provided regarding this topic on this site to disable the IM Forwarding option, but everytime I go into the AOL site to disable the option and type in my screen name, my cell phone number doesn’t even appear in the box and I don’t even have the IM Forwarding option set up. So if I don’t seem to have it set up, how in the hell am I being charged?? Also, I’ve signed on from other computers under different screen names to see if when I sign off on my computer if my screen name is still signed on with a phone next to it, and it isn’t. ALSO, I’ve never received any AIM text messages on my phone. Can anyone PLEASE tell me what the hell is going on and how to fix this bull****. Also (last also, promise) I’ve created another screen name and I’ve blocked everyone on my old buddy list, does anyone think that I’ll still somehow be receiving non-existent messages and continue to be charged??
