is your intenet connection stable or does it crack once in a while? Also try changing your setting because if you have to many things on you don’t even use it’ll go slower and if your computer is slow it probably freezes.
as far as I know, I dont know anything about aligment and it isnt to important unless your trying to make a story on AIM and begin with center alligned title and right aligned name and such…. but I know how to skip lines 🙂 if you didnt know its SHIFT+ ENTER sorry that might have been a little bit off topic….
it actually died at version 4.8 the last version it worked with. the 5.0 and higher are not compatible with it and never will be or so it seems.
Are you 13? Did you put in your older than 13? Do you have soemthing that blocks things from downloading on your computer? BEcause of spyware or something?
THe connection can get disabled because someone decides to pull a plug…if you for some strange reason have a neighbor with a wireless internet connection it may try to connect to two wireless connections at once. That doesnt work so you have to boot one off in the properties. You should also make sure when you set it up you do not click anything twice because you might set up a “fake” internet connection that your computer tries to connect to, then it will connect back to the real one and so on.
AIM 4.8 is compatible with AIM+ so do you have AIM+? Because really 5.5 and the rest after 4.8 should work unless somene did something to your computer. Maybe you have AIM+ and it wont let you use 5.0 or higher because it is not exactly compatible with them, also try reinstalling AIM
Well thanks, I only really needed the AIM+ history viewer so I can see my brothers conversations when he’s online! Lol just kidding. I also need it when I hit the X button and some1 just said something, erll ya never know do ya. I tried doing it with 4.8 but that doesnt work either for some strange reason. I’ll just skip it in because 5.5 is soo much better….I felt alone without it

people these days REALLY hate slow internet so if your internet has gone slower, that may be a problem because at one point my internet was working fine but the internet connection was too slowso I couldnt go on AIM until I fixed that, seems to be a strange problem tho. Have you tried contacting the people at AOL through email and saking them whats going on?
i know what that is, I know I might reply a little bit late but it was something that comes with the new version of Smiley Central. I probably have downloaded smiley central or someone downloaded it for you It is so you can put animated smileys and play other games thatn the ones that Aim 5.5 already has. Well as for removing it try opening your internet explorer and at the top it should say smiley central I think you can edit if it has it for AIM or not
