i updated the drivers last night from the logitech site itself, the OS im running is windows XP, service pack 2, and as far as firewalls go, i had it turned off and it still did that.. and the messenger im using is MSN 6.3… right now im going to install and use msn 7.0 and see if its still continue, ill report back in maybe 30 mins and let you know the results, thanks for the help you guys

aight sorry for the long delay, but when i used msn 7.0 it still did that, blah its seriously becoming a huge annoyance i dont want to spend 50 bucks on a new webcam and find out that theres actually something within the comp thats affecting it cause then itll defeat the purpose of buying the new cam…

im glad i browsed through this forum, but can anybody answer this guys question? im having the same exact probs as him, my cam started messin w/ me recently and i been using it for a while, also keep note it cant be a virus or a spyware/adware prog i ranned as many of the progs as possible and none of that stuff showed up.. hmm maybe it may be our cam, but hey id rather know for sure before i spend 50 bucks on a new one

Are you sick and tired of "Top 10" lists that don't really help you make decisions that will improve your life? That's a pet peeve of mine, too, and I'm doing something about it.
