Hey guys, I’m not sure of the validity of this problem, but my friend sent me a notification to not accept IMs from “Daronboy187” or “Misx bitch” stating that their IMs have a virus embedded – apparently it happened to a friend of mine and he’s having people spread the word. I’m not really sure how that would work, but I just figured I’d spread the word just to be safe (or to see if any of you have heard of it)

Thanks for the help, but I just managed to fix it myself. It seems that if you simply force Windows to restart with the last known working settings, it fixes everything…I think I’m just going to stick with AIM though, since this first time I tried MSN it totally wrecked my connection 🙂 Oh well…Thanks again – I may be back sometime soon

None of this stuff has helped – I’ve tried everything short of reinstalling windows, which I can’t do because I don’t have the recovery cd on hand. (it’s at home, I’m at college)…I have no connectivity to AIM, Steam or MSN – anyone who thinks they may be able to help is welcome to give it a shot.
