Flying did you change your active x settings ? Do you use spybot s&d ?spywareguard ? spyblaster ? any of those antispyware programs can be set to not allow java script .I think Shashaa has pointed you in the right place if your not using any of those afore mentioned programs .If you are then you’ll have to past what settings you have marked for more detailed help. ( tools > internet settings > security >set it to medium click ok and try a java page )

Darth sounds like your chat account name has been used for a booter name write an email to yahoo and tell them about the problem your having see if maybe they will unlock your chat account , BTW messy stuff would only work if you had messanger downloaded on your pc deleteing all yahoo files cleared what messy stuff would have cleaned out and you shouldnt of had to delete .messystuff is a easy way of clearing offlines if you know you are going to get a bootcode as an offline . try this email not sure its it the right place but it is yahoo so its worth a shot cc-advoc@yahoo-inc.com
If you block port 3153 local port and 5050 also port 5101 that should disable messanger on that pc or you could download the sygate free firewall and disallow the messanger access to the net ( sygate firewall is password protected also )

Flying what programs are you running ? Are you signing in to yahoos home page (http://www.yahoo.com) ? then going to chat or are you using Messanger ? If your running too many apps or you havent do the month mateance ( defrag, dump cookies ,temp files etc ) try that and then try chat again , Maggie have you cleared out your cookies and temp files Defragged all these things help to keep your pc running smooth could be the root of the problem is it just needs cleaning .

Adding them to your messanger one name at a time is the Only way it gives the person your adding a chance to deny or add you as They wish.
O.k darth here is astep by step way of clearing offline messanges goto-Start/ my computer / to the C: drive / program files / yahoo / messenger/ profiles find your username ( the one thats giving you the trouble/you might wanna sign into once before you do this ) from that proflie click archive / messages / the username that fills your offlines / highlight it ( right click ) delete. close all the windows log back into messanger under the darth name problem resolved ( This might have to be done more than once but it will solve your Problem ) hope it helps .riff ( email me if you need more info)
Poeple wake up Any one can lie about age when signing up with yahoo so in thoery any aged child preteen or even teen ages can make up a Yahoo id without knowledge their parent , Unforunatly some kids arent supervised well enough and It does happen .
Darth there’s a web site with a program you outta download. Get the program called messy stuff download it enter your user name password find the tab marked delete off line mess. that should correct your login problem .
