ash.I assume that you have all the basic requirements
for yahoo messenger 6.I think you should delete the temporary files.
In Internet explorer > tools > options > general >delete files.
also on the general page click settings >select “every visit to the page”
I think you have a stale page in your cache. that should solve it.If I doesnt then ,
