as Torseq Tech. stated editing it will probably do nothing to help from booting, but it can be edited by double clicking the file. then you will get a prompt asking you if you want to find a program on the web to read the file or choose from a list. select choose from a list then choose to open it in notepad this will allow you to see the encoded strings. Even though I agree that it probably helps nothing at all to protect booting, I edited mine with new strings I got from info on a booter web site. I figure what the heck even if it dosent work cant hurt anything, after all that file is only for filtering out cuss words in chat rooms. here is the code I entered in mine

all you need to do is open it with note pade click edit menu, select all, delete, then copy this string in its place and close it set your word filter to strong in yahoo messenger and click apply
