Member****An elderly Floridian called 911 on her cell phone to
report that her car has been broken into. She is hysterical
as she explains her situation to the dispatcher:
“They’ve stolen the stereo, the steering wheel, the
brake pedal and even the accelerator!” she cried.
The dispatcher said, “Stay calm. An officer is on the way.”
A few minutes later, the officer radios in.
“Disregard.” He says. “She got in the back-seat by mistake.”:D:p:D

Member****Three sisters ages 92, 94 and 96 live in a house
together. One night the 96 year old draws a bath. She
puts her foot in and pauses. She yells to the other sisters,
“Was I getting in or out of the bath?” The 94 year old yells
back, “I don’t know. I’ll come up and see.” She
starts up the stairs and pauses. “Was I going up the stairs
or down?” The 92 year old is sitting at the kitchen table
having tea listening to her sisters. She shakes her head
and says, “I sure hope I never get that forgetful.”
She knocks on wood for good measure.
She then yells, “I’ll come up and help both of you as soon
as I see who’s at the door.”Hehehe….:D

MemberI saw the movie Tombstone last night…Wow! What a great western. The cast included Kurt Russell as Wyatt Erp and Val Kilmore as Doc Holiday, Sam Elliot as one of the Erp Brothers. I guess it’s been out for a while, but I never had the chance to see it until now. Taking place in the old west, and with historical events of what happened at the Ok Corral, and the lives of these young men is amazing. Action, romance, subspense, “Tombstone” was very entertaining…;) With this all star cast I give it a two thumbs up…:D

Phil…none of us profess to be perfect. I do feel that sometimes just expressing your amusment for a joke along with a comment is okay. Thats my opinion anyways.
So in posting your reply as you have with the disagreement, you have managed to go off topic. If the Moderator was wrong (in your eyes)…does two wrongs make a right?…;)shearheaven
MemberThought I saw you today…you were standing in the sun and you turned away. And I knew it couldn’t be…but my heart believed. Oh it seems like theres something everyday. How could you be so far away…when your still here. When I need you your not hard to find. Your still here. I can see you in my baby eyes. And I laugh and cry, your still here.
Had a dream last night…that you came to me on silver wings and I…I flew away with you again in the sky. And I woke up wondering what is real. Is it what you see and touch, or what you feel? Cause your still here. Oh your everywhere we’ve ever been…Your still here. I heard you in a strangers laugh, and I hung around to hear him laugh again…just once again.
But I saw you again today…you were standing in the sun and you turned away…away.

MemberI have never read any of the books but, I have seen the first movie. And I thought it was cute and entertaining. I will see the second movie when it comes out on DVD. I view these movies as “just fun”. And I feel that some make such a big deal out of whats “Real” and “Fantasy”. What about Star Wars?…Star Trek?…Lord of the Rings?…Come on folks…don’t we know the difference?…:D
