My brother has tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software on both comps, disconnected all the cables from the modem and the router and reconnected them, and there was no change. We hadn’t experienced any problems with the internet until the router was first installed. I have version 5.9.3690 of AIM on the comp downstairs and my brother has an older version b/c when he recently tried installing 5.9 it wouldn’t work. What exactly is firmware? That’s the only thing I’m not real sure about.
