It actually sounds like something has written to your registry. Many including me have had this problem lately. Ad-Aware fixed the problem. The free one works fine, http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ it clears what is written to you registry.

Yes as I said a parent has the right to know all the kid does online.
What your not understanding is that they have all the info they need to check it. (ie)

*Buzz* Incorrect.
Same computer does not make it legal. I share PC’s with my other half and we are both adults. His messages are his private things, Its NOT legal for me to go in and read his just because we share the same PC. Thats why there are passwords.

A properly obtained under age Yahoo ID a parent is needed and they are informed of any password changes etc. So you see they would always be able to login under their childs ID and check.Or you want to know someone else’s Message Archive but you cannot log in to his/her account to view his/her Message Archive?

Darth that is exactly the same as what I refered you to. Jon and many others could use their Yahoo! mail but not Mess. or Chat. Also as I had said there are Tons of postings about this. If you utilize the Search section on here Im sure many of old posting will be of help.

Answer is simply leave your account alone for at least 48 hours. Do not sign into it at all in that time! Most can then sign in with no problem. Days very for some tho, 1 to 5 day of not signing into Yahoo! with that ID at all should *fix* your problem.*FYI* in the post I sent you to my signifigant other, Jon, had deleted his account as we did not learn this *fix* until too late. He since then has made the account again.
Its just a Yahoo! glitch. If the person people dont see would pop out of the room and back then they would be seen. Its not something you can control. Invisable mode is just for Yahoo! Messenger not chatrooms. It means you should not been seen on peoples Yahoo! Messenger friends list. It does not mean you can go into chatrooms and not be seen.
What categories are you looking under? Have you try’d clicking Cultures & Communitys and then By Language or Countries & Cultures? When you first open the list of rooms up it shows you many categories and some categories have sub-categories. Have you looked thru all of the choices?
It happens sometimes. Alot of times it helps if you simply just type a . into the message part. Or just resending it a few times. I hear of both working for most people. Good luck!
Nope not confusing and yes thats the way it works. Even if you dont have Y!Pager on it will show you online when just logged into Games or any other Yahoo Site thing ya gotta log in on the site for.
Lurking they are talking about not using the messenger but just logging into the site. If you log into the site then yup your visable as only messenger allows you to be invisable.

Thank you for the reply to my problem of not being able to use a picture for my profile that is already in my photo album. The choice does not even show up as an option. Your reply was that its not something that is available at this time, but this is taken right from your help page!
To select a picture already in your Yahoo! Photo album, click “Yahoo! Photos,” then find the picture you’d like to use. Check the box next to the picture name and click the “Select” button. The picture will be automatically uploaded to your Yahoo! profile.
So does this mean you stoped this feature? If so why is the above still given as a help answer? Also if so why is it better for us to have to keep adding the same pictures over and over ending up with multiples of the same picture in our albums? Many people like to switch pictures on thier profiles and not always by adding a new one. We like to use ones we have in the past that are already in our album. It just does not make sence to keep adding the same pictures. You need to re-add the feature to select a picture already in your Yahoo! Photo album!!

NO, your not understanding me. Believe me I understand how the profiles and albums work. I have 16 albums with the ID I am having the trouble with. I have no problem now with adding new pics and have them show up. The problem is I am not given the choice to select a picture already in your Yahoo! Photo Album at all the button nor text is even there!
I am now having a problem when I go to edit my picture Im not given the choice of using a photo from my Yahoo Photo Album. Only choices are to upload a picture from my PC or choose one of Yahoo’s pictures from thier gallery or to delete current picture. I wrote Yahoo about this and waiting for a reply. I just wondered if anyone else had this happening.
Anyone check out Yahoo Photos lately? Oh yeah they been working on it!!!! Got a new look etc. I figured our problem had something to do with them switching things around. The red X’s come from broken picture links and with us getting that I figured went we loaded them Yahoo had them go some place else. Which in return gave us the broken link. Ladybug I had try’d deleting the new pics just shortly after they were loaded but they would not dlelete. Ill try now maybe its working now cuz Yahoo is done moving files? Glad to hear its working for you, wish Us all luck now.
