Rusted, no you were not one of the moderators I tried to contact but I would however introduce myself properly for example “i’m a member at BBB, i’m extremely sorry to have bothered you, etc etc” if that were the case.

Any other programs you’re having problems with or is it just the lag in Yahoo? I won’t use our wireless Linksys router when I’m on yahoo, etc. Even the slightest bit of motion or something stupid like an airplane flying over causes it to lose connection or freeze on me. If you’ve done all the troubleshooting on the router itself and that isn’t the problem I’m not sure what you can do to your settings to prevent these problems.
I’m positive I don’t get as many people contacting me as the moderator’s but am amazed at the pointless conversation people want to hold with total strangers. I HAVE however tried to contact 2 moderators at one time or another for a legitimate problem/question and never got an answer anyway.
I agree with the suggestion “give only members with the rank of ‘BigBlueRookie’ and above all ways to contact other members”. There are a few of us that have no intention of “chatting” just getting our questions answered.
(Sounding Like a Broken Record) but… easiest solution is to go back to 5.5 because I’ve had the same problem and even though friends have tested the DSL connection it’s Yahoo that seems to be the problem. Did you have the same problems with 5.5??
Thank you Yaya, this sounds like a great idea to give my 2 year old. She’s so picky and I think she would love the cups. I’m always interested in new ideas, same dinner every week gets boring.

What version of Yahoo are you using? Have you had this problem since you first started using Y! messenger?
JustCuz..I rec’d the same message today when I logged into my mail. I had to re-log onto messenger to make the prompt go away. I never think anything of it..just Yahell acting up. If it keeps happening I’d try reinstalling and go from there.

I get this same prompt sometimes, but usually it is when I’m using an alternative IM program. I did a search and Jeff explains the problem well here.. good advice is to change your password.

It’s a problem with the new version of yahoo.. checkout some other discussions and you’ll see you’re not alone in these problems.
I’m a big college football fan. I like to watch any sport but I don’t ‘follow’ any pro teams.
