MemberHey! Thanks everyone! 🙂
Tony
MemberWhich Trillian version are you using?
Tony
MemberICQ’s status servers were down yesterday. That happens from time to time. They are up and running now anyway!
Tony
MemberYes, I can access your OSI host now.
About the image loading problem. The use of imagefolder may be good in either way to improve the performance of your OSI. I know I’ve seen the image loading issue once before, but I can’t really remember where. Are you using an uncommon browser? I think I might have seen this issue with Konqueror…
Tony
MemberAre you running a web server on the same computer?
If yes, please disable it during OSI setup or create status.conf manually.
(OSI detects that something is already running on port 80 and thinks it is OSI. That’s why you get to see the Admin Tool.)
Tony
MemberI can’t access your OSI either. Do you have a firewall that is blocking outside access to port 8080?

MemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by lazyturboIs there like a file in the Trillian folder with my contacts that ICQ can access?
No. (ICQ cannot import Trillian’s Buddies.xml file)
Tony
Member1. Yes, definately! That’s the whole point of it.
2. Check the FAQ about Usage at http://www.onlinestatus.org. This question is answered there. Please also note that OSI hosts are caching status. Cache times vary between 0-5 minutes depending on which OSI host you are using.
Please post (or e-mail me) the address to your online status indicator if you want me to check if it is correct set up.

MemberICQ are currently having server problems, and I hope they resolve them soon.
Tony
MemberThe site is actually up and running now. The DNS changes may not have spread all over the world yet though. It may take a day or two.
My ISP switched servers and something went wrong.
Tony
MemberI doubt that a free web hosting site will let you run Java programs.
Tony
Member1. Right-click contact list, select Add. In the dialog, select Import.
2. Did you set them up properly? How do you know that they are invisible?
3. Install the skin (extract to skins folder) and select the new skin in preferences. You need to restart Trillian for skin change to take effect.
Tony
MemberThis can be done in one of the following two ways:
1. Use the imagefolder described in readme.txt
2. Place your own aimonline.gif icqoffline.gif etc in the same folder as status.jar
