The docking I’m talking about is the sticky docking. Using AIM 5.9 when you drag the buddy list to the left it doesn’t stick like AIM 6.x
Ok I installed the ad remover patch and for the last 3 days this problem hasnt occurred. Thanks for the help.
Yes my AIM has an ad space just like that one. The ads gets updated meaning it changes from time to time. I also suspect that the ad has something to do with it. That is why I am careful not to run the cursor over it. However, no sometimes when I close it without touching the ad at all, it still pops up the IE thing. what is adverts?
OK i’ve decided to try the ad removal patch which removes that little thing. Lets hope it works. I’ll post the answer again in a couple of days if this thing happens again.
I have upgraded to 6.xx and it doesn’t have that problem anymore. However 5.9 works best for me because 6.xx platform is too different. It’s like going from XP to Vista for me. But if there is no other way then I will upgrade to 6.xx.
The reason why I like 5.9 so much is because it does not have automatic docking. I can put it on the top right in such a way that when I want to close the menu I just go as far right and up as possible and click. With 6.xx it automatically docks it in such a way that if I go as far right and up as possible and click, i’ll be closing my web browser instead of closing the aim menu.
