Ok this is for detn8r I just want to clearify something in what you said.Which I am sur eyou realize this yerself, but with what you have written and the way its written it can be misinterpeted. For about 98% of the booting being done it is not being done by the programmers. Most programmers dont use booters they just write them and release them on thier own sites and other sites. Like me I have made and released 12 since october 4th. Have i use dany of them myself? NO. I used to test my stuff but now i only test when i have added new packets or something of the sort. I dont feel a need. Yes i used to boot quiet frequently. But any more it is more fun and more of a challenge to try to make something new and better. Like I say I dont think you were actually implying that it was the programmers doing the booting. I just wanted to clear it up for the other readers. I didnt want all anti yahoo programmers to get a bad rap because a few people may have misinterpeted something they had read. Otherwise very good post and very true.
ok for starters SHUT OFF yer system restore. DO NOT use it. If you realy need to do anything of that nature it i much better to just completely reformat. System restore uses up lot of memory just to be active. If you really think it is from the newer version of yahoo, why dont you uninstall yer yahoo messenger and install an older version? If you dont know where to get an older version of yahoo messenger PM me on yahoo and i will give you th elink to my site. I have messenger 6.0 on my site and i also have messenger 5.0 here on a disc. Really though I dont think this is your problem completly. It seems to be a PC performance issue. I think you may just have too much stuff running in the bckground on yer pc. This happens with alot of people and they dont even realize it. To find this out restart your PC and as soon a it starts open your task manager and click the processes tab. The only process you should see running is windows system processes. If there is anything else running this means your are allowing your pc to run operations on start up. This will cause a great deal of speed loss upon Boot up. The only thing you shoul dbe allowing your PC to run on startup is windows. Then once windows starts YOU turn on what you will be using. There is no need to have windows running programs you aint using. The pc will perform so much better if it only a to do what you are telling it to do. There is alot of ways to correct this. A good place to start would be TweakXP They give lots of performance tweaking tips for WindowsXP. Also on that site take note on the left side of the page In the Tweak & Tips Catergory area there is a catergory called Internet and Network After you do yer performance tweaks go to Internet & Networking and check them out too. Look for the one about Killing Yahoo Chat Ads aspecially. This is a great tip. I myself do just about ALL of the Performance Tweaks. I have done them all enough between my own PCs and other PCs I have worked on for people that I dont even have to look at th ewebpage anymore lol. They do give for the most part very thorough directions on doing the tweaks though. Jut make ure you red it and follow EXACTLY what it is telling you till you get the hang of it.
Well all i can really say is if this is that similar in build and use to ytunnel it wont be hard for a programmer to make packets for a booter and boot it. so i guess in reality there relly is other peeps just as retarded as Chet Simpson. All though most dont relize it that Chet Simpson himself makes booters capable of booting his own product. The man is smart in that aspect…..Build a messy add on and sell it then make booter that will boot it and sell them. LOL LOL LOL Which this bout the only smart thing he has done lol lol

I didnt say there was anything wrong with it….Did I ? NO …..didnt think so. I dont have nothing against that but what i do have something agaist is peeps editing out my signature and my MY WEB LINK after I was kind enough to add the link to all this on my site so my members start coming here. Whats up with that?

The explaination given of how a booter works was very thoruogh. I too have made some simple chat clients and lots of booters. I myself feel you left some things out about how a booter works. I myself feel it was just a pitch to promote your product. Or else you would have included some other things and you would have mentioned the fact that your chat client is very bootable. Like some one had said it dont matter what you are using if they want you booted you will be booted. All they gotta do is even go to my site lots of booters there, many of which WILL boot YMLITE, MESSY, YAZAC, YEHLITE, YTUNNEL, AND MORE. Instead of going through the trouble of downloading and installing a 3rd party client of any kind it is much simpler and works just about as well(maybe better in some cases)…..Before entering chat just go into your messenger settings and shut down pretty much everything except for PMs from freinds. This includes cam, chat, photo share, conference, and file invites. And the reason you can except PMs from freinds , but no one else is this….. Boot programs use bot ids in the program to send the boot packets. In most cases they ar enot going to be using thier own id in the program. The programs can be made to use from 1 bot to an unlimited number of bots. This will not protect you from all possibilities of being booted, but it will be a very great help. I would also like to add the fact the it DOES NOT matter a great deal of what internet connection speed the person is using to operate the booter. I have just finally recently switched from 56kbps dial up to 3.0mbps DSL. I myself booted more people and better on my old dial up connection. So really folks do not try to let this guy fool you with everything he is saying. I will though say that I have used his program. It does work and work well, but is not unbootable. I am not saying he says it is or anything of that manner I just want people to be aware that it isnt. His program is a very well written program though and serves its purpose. I will say though his post was a little to in depth for the average yahoo user to even understand or comprehend. I say this, because in my time on yahoo I have found that the average yahoo users are morons. LOL. Well I have said enough. P.S. I did not write this to in anyway degrade or run down YMLITE or its writer. I was just simply stating FACTS on simpler, but truthful level.
