I see… so the winner gets a hangover? Good think I suck at checkers. 🙂
YahooliganMemberisland property — Tigerblade, what does your link to Anchorman have to do with whore island?
YahooliganMemberSo if they had from the get go given you the CHOICE of uploading your videos, you wouldn’t have joined?! I still can’t get my mind around why anyone would be upset over something that is an OPTION that they can choose to IGNORE.
YahooliganMemberI thought about voting for myself, but something about that just didn’t feel right. Good luck, Wolverine!
YahooliganMemberBut you don’t pay for the quality of the photos. You pay for the privilege of uploading more photos and adding more categories.

YahooliganMemberThis has been built into AIM for a few years. You can link accounts together and sign on at the same time with one AIM client. You can even set different online status for each account.
In AIM, go to Edit > Preferences then go to the Buddy List tab. On there you should see a section called Linked Screen Names with a link. You click that link and follow the instructions to set it up.
YahooliganMemberUnfortunately, not yet, at least as far as I know. As you see with programs like Pidgin and Disgsby, they can usually handle text chat ok, but voip support is more difficult.
Trillian claims to support voice for some networks, but I haven’t ever gotten it to work as well as the native app.
YahooliganMemberBut there is already “crap” in Flickr in the form of still photos. I think Jeff’s point is that you don’t have to look at it. It doesn’t effect you at all, unless you go searching for it.
YahooliganMemberI don’t get it. Is this supposed to be good or bad? Because it’s basically crap.
YahooliganMemberI’m going rabbit hunting…
Well, the chocolate kind. Happy Easter, everyone. I love this time of year when the sun starts staying up longer, the days start getting warmer and the girls start wearing… oh nevermind. 😉
March 20, 2008 at 9:53 pm in reply to: BroadSoft Going Up Against Ribbit with VoIP Platform for Web Apps #168160YahooliganMemberSeems like there’s no end to people looking to make a buck off of telecommunications. I guess it’s worked in the past, and it works today, so why not?
I think voip should be “free” with your internet connection.

YahooliganMemberThe 2.0 SDK is out now, but you have to pay to get it (I think). The 2.0 firmware upgrade will be available free to iPhone users sometime in June, and there will be an “official” process for Apple-approved third-party apps. Some may be free, but they can also charge, using an interface similar to that in iTunes.
It actually looks pretty exciting… I’ll post some videos of the announcement.

I think it’s a great idea! How hard could it be?
