MemberI’m sorry if I’m not “grown up” enough for you. And I didn’t mean to “attack rabidkitten in the first place, I was just disagreeing with her. Maybe I was a little mean, but I was just really angry with her post, and I’m sorry RK.

MemberQuote:quote:Somehow I knew that if one person said something along those lines, it would have been you. Surprise surprise. That is NOT a dissagreement, that is a personal attack. YOU can take it as you wish, but there is atleast 3 of us that think other wise. Being mean? Okay, again, grow up. People can take you being “mean”, but not shoving out attacks.

I do not think that people are here for a reason, I KNOW they are. So therefore I am going to say it like it is a fact.Idiom:
in (point of) fact
In reality or in truth; actually. Please provide scientific evidence that we are here for a reason, until then, it is NOT a fact, but an opinion.

MemberHey, guys, peace here!
Collin apologized, and I thank him for doing so…not that I like what RK said, of course, but I did think it was in response of a provocation and understandable. I think you are grown up Collin, and you showed that by apologizing, thanks again.
Now let’s go back to the topic, and I will be the first doing so.
Tingerblade, I thought and think RabidKitten was refering to the fact that a kid can actually survive if it is born after 6 months or so of pregnancy. Actually laws protect the fetus after a certain number of weeks of pregnancy have gone by. I don’t think, or I didn’t understand, that she was refering to a 2 year old that can survive if you abandone him in a gas station…but to a form of live that would be suficiently formed to live as a separate item from the mom. Maybe she would extend the period (in spain is 12 weeks but I know in some places is 16, and even higher if there is a detected illness or handicap).
Have a nice Sunday you all!

ParticipantFirstly, thank you science for understanding my reply and not censuring it. I know it wasn’t particularly nice, but heh…you and the members know me well enough not to take an attack on my character like that, and I appreciate the fact that it was left to stand.
Secondly, Colin, it -was- an attack, twisted is quite right in that fact, and thank you as well twisted, in putting in your word. I appreciate the backing that I got from that outright attack on my character. Colin, you really know nothing about me, so please do not pretend that you do, there are people here that know me better than you ever shall, and people beyond them also. I could’ve handled it better, but I wouldn’t expect anything different from any other member if such assumptions were made.
Letter C (yes I know I went from number to letters, variety is good), Yes, a child is in the womb for a reason, but what isn’t somewhere for a reason? Hell, a sperm has a reason, but it doesn’t mean it will fulfill it. A seed from a tree has a reason, but it doesn’t mean that someone wont run it over with a lawnmower to prevent it from its reason. -Everything- is here for a reason, but that’s pointless to this discussion, and a matter of opinion. A lot of people think that really there is no point to anything, life, love, death, a person, a people, a world, none of it has any purpose. So in that, it is an opinion.
Science, once more thank you for understanding my words and clarifying when I wasn’t around. Yes, many children have problems surviving on their own, being abandoned or what not, but if sat down on a couch they can breath and move on their own. If a plate of food is set before them, they can feed themselves. Fetuses are reliant on another person, if left outside of the womb, can a fetus breath on its own, can it feed itself, can it sustain its own life for any real relivant amount of time? After a certain period of gestation, yes, and that is then called a “partial birth abortion”, which are indeed wrong in my opinion. At that time the parent should have made the decision and should’ve taken care of it a time ago, that’s just blatant procrastination and such, there’s really no excuse for procrastination in that serious a matter. If you’re going to wait for that many months to get it aborted, at that point the child could actually sustain life outside of the womb, and at which point, I think is wrong to abort it, but it does not mean that I would condemn someone, it’s just a personal belief. But before then…well…A seed is not a tree.
