After reading ALL the comments on this article, I just finally understand that the transports should be created under the “Google Talk” one. Right ?
For the drag&drop stuff, I never succeed it…
Nevertheless, when I try to access the jabber server (jabber.tf-network.de) and add transports under the “Google Talk” I always got the message:
Error submitting registration form
Reason:forbidden
The requesting entity dies not possess the required permissions to perform the action.
Should I conclude that “google.com” doesn’t allow me to add “qq.jabber.tf-net.de” ? (QQ is a Chinese messenger)
Note hat I have the message with all of the messenger services.
At this stage, I still haven’t succeed to see my contacts (MSN, QQ or other) into Gtalk.
Tks for your help,
Great forum here!
hi. I did everything in the guide. the only difference was that I used chrome.pl instead ursine.ca. after I registered my msn so I only got a system message from msn.chrome.pl and not from my msn contacts. what is the problem
Hi all,
This worked swimmingly right up until the first time that someone tried to add me to an MSN groupchat when I was kicked out of the conference and the transport went offline.
I’ve tried a couple of different transports and get the same thing every time. I’ve just tried using jabber.dk and although I got the same response with my GTalk account, when I registered a jabber.dk account and tried connecting to a groupchat through that, it worked fine.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
I can’t find any way to do it. There is no thing to add a person. I can invite a person, but because the format looks exactly like an email address, it tries to send an invitation by email, which gets me nowhere. How do you do this?
