Subway. Oh, and Taco-Time. and let’s not forget Wendy’s… And has anybody here ever tried Fazzolies? (italian fast food) ok, maybe that was more than one. But they’re all great.
What are you looking forward to for the holidays?
December 9, 2004 at 12:15 am #107409colinMemberMmm Fazoli’s is GOOD.
What am I looking forward to in the holidays? Well, I already got my big gift, so I guess it is just being with my family in general.
What did you get last year for Christmas that you liked best?
December 9, 2004 at 7:30 am #107505gossipingraeMemberhmmm I can’t say any particular gift, because I can’t remember lol. i’d have to say that my family was together and healthy..especially my mom…she is in remission now for a year and a half with her cancer, so that was enough for me.
what, in your opinion, is the BEST holiday cookie, and why?
December 9, 2004 at 10:50 pm #107436Crazy PenguinMemberOk i’m not 100% sure what you mean by a holiday cookie… but i’m going to assume you mean biscuits that happen to be sold more often around Christmas… in which case it would have to be Danish cookies… cos they are the only biscuits I can think of which we buy around chirstmas time…
anyway my next quetsion was going to be how many doors you have on your house to continue teh randomness theme, but taht makes me sound like a prospective burglar so I won’t… instead i’ll ask for your alarm code, address, any relevant security features and your approximate monetary worth :p
Anyway a real question, why is it that whenever you forget to do something, you do it at the worst possible time?
December 9, 2004 at 11:43 pm #107458SpikeMemberThis is due to the evolutionary theory that homo sapiens have a very unstrategic tendency to forget things at the worst possible times. This is becuase when yor brain synapses are processing a thought relatively close to that which you are currently doing, your brain sudenly responds and you remeber that which you forgot earlier on in the day.
Did that make any sense?
December 9, 2004 at 11:46 pm #107437Crazy PenguinMemberNo, cos that would make no evolutionary sense.
Would that make any evolutionary sense?
December 9, 2004 at 11:48 pm #107459SpikeMemberYes, otherwise I wouldn’t have said it in the first place.
What, in your opinion, is the evolutionary theory? (Don’t look it up!)
December 9, 2004 at 11:53 pm #107438Crazy PenguinMemberThere isn’t an evolutionary theory for it… because if there was we’d all be dead as we forgot to avoid the various deadly predators which live in the cave next door…
I’ve decided that it’s all got somethign to do with “Penguin’s Law!”, that people forget things at teh worst possible times, because if they didn’t forget it wouldn’t be the worst possible time so they wouldn’t remember it, so it wouldn’t be the worst possible time. HA!
Does that make sense?
December 9, 2004 at 11:55 pm #107460SpikeMemberYes.
Is anyone else besides CrazyP and myself going to post? 😉
December 10, 2004 at 12:03 am #107439Crazy PenguinMemberno, because we’re posting to quickly…. must stop doing that….
Am I a figment of your sick and twisted collective imagination?
December 10, 2004 at 12:05 am #107461SpikeMemberOdds are, yes.
Will this repitition ever end?
December 10, 2004 at 12:09 am #107506gossipingraeMemberi hope so, that was getting on my nerves. lol
do you listen to the radio more, or cd’s more?
December 10, 2004 at 12:15 am #107440Crazy PenguinMemberWell done miss rae, you have save dus from an endless cycle of repetition whcih would surely lead to me being driven mad. I thank thee.
As to the question… truth be told neither, I don’t listen to any of them purposefully, though I suppose i’m mor elikely to walk into a room with a cd on then a radio… so i’ll go for cd…
what’s the big deal with music?
December 10, 2004 at 12:16 am #107326DaJMan1800MemberCDs more these days, only because I can never find anything besides rap on the radio. I just caved and started going CD crazy… lol
Where do you live, and what is it like there?
December 10, 2004 at 3:48 am #107462SpikeMemberChicago Burbs, and the climate is moderate, but we sometimes get the Lake Michigan “Lake Effect”. We live in a nicely spaced suburb, a 3-step Ranch house with a finished basement. It’s very homely.
What’s your favorite old-school video game?
