February 6, 2004 at 3:46 pm #58819detn8rParticipantIt seems to have tested that on my school’s connection too. Wounder what’s going on with that.
February 19, 2004 at 11:41 am #58860dmeMemberAh. i feel one of the lucky few. I’m a Network Engineer currently testing Television over ADSL for a new service provider, so I have had my connection upgraded to a 5.5Mbit connection. I have downloaded at up to 880 Kilobytes per second (spelt out fully to avoid confusion), although it’s usually around 500-600. The best part is that it’s free. 😀 problem is, still have low speads at upload, since most people around here have a 512/128 DSL connection.
Will do the actual test tonight when I get home, just to confirm. 🙂

Take this test – http://nyc.speakeasy.net (<– take the test – just because you have a 56k modem doesn't mean you have 56k speed)
How fast is your download, or downstream?
Dude really, don’t even post if your not going to read the question.
