I wanted to retest on a different ISP:

They upgraded all the customers in our area from 3mbit/256kbit to 4mbit/512kbit, but I’m not seeing the full speed increase yet. They did it on the 10th, and there was no extra cost or anything.

ah comcast always says they double the speed of the connection but I see no diff.

542kbps / 697kbps. But this is over at my friends house. Heheheh not bad concidering he’s leeching wireless off from someone in his complex, eh? Hell, I’d say that that’s damn good for free! I’ll have to check my internet back at home later.
