you should have made a backup copy of what was in there before reinstalling it to be honest, otherwise if you have a roll-back function installed that can bring back the old contents, that’s what you need to do, before rolling back make a copy of the contents of that folder as it stands now, or try copying that folder’s contents but from you laptop, and you should have those conversations available to you, i found this out by accident many years ago.
because before i installed a newer version of odigo into her computer, i did the wise thing to copy what she had there before, on installation of the newer odigo that came out at that time, she discovered that it would not let her back in without the password that she had forgotten.
fortunately all i had to do was copy of file located in the Db directory from the previous install, to the new installation.

OH NOOO, its happening again, after like a month and a half of working, Odigo is offline once more, at least on my machine. Can other Odigo users confirm that?
Cant see why they just dont hand this over to another company and let them run it and maybe more importantly maintain the database and servers..
Anyway, I guess when its been moved or repaired etc, it will be back up.Dont know why Comverse or whoever it is that owns Odigo doesnt at least have the courtesy to make a statement. Odigo, for all its faults, ie unreliability, is/was a very good IM with a loyal following. I hope that it is restored soon.
I See there website is back up, and so I guess its a matter of them rebuilding the database or a restore from where ever they keep it.
Still think they could hand it over to a group to keep a eye on it and to restore when it goes down.
Yes , we know its a old and not updated for years, but like the last poster says, it does have a small but loyal following and some of the features are still great to use.
Take care and Have fun all 🙂Well i had given up hope and then clicked on it one day and it worked sadly it has gone ,i have sent e-mails and searched ,cannot find explination why it has gone again,i agree good bit of software ,a simple explination as to why and how long and the future would be nice .pity i was not a member of mosad:o
Don’t give up on Odigo yet, its back!!! All of a sudden its back, although not too many people connected to it yet, it was out for amost 2 months… But we are back in business baby!

Just hope they have a permanent server now and some failover if it falls apart again. 🙂Take care all
