MemberHey, it looks like only bradf likes this app. Give chance to it.
Yes there are some things that they should fix. Don’t be in such a hurry.
I personally am willing to use it.

MemberThanks man,
Based on the feedback we have been getting, every day there is new improvements to Qnext. In fact, over the past two weeks we have made over 30 changes to the interface based directly on the feedback that we have been getting.
A great user base is already in France and Isreal. We now have users from most major countries around the world. It is very cool to watch the user base grow and spread.

MemberI’ve googled Qnext a lot recently about and I must say the results are somehow contradictory, but I am quite satisfied with the product. I cannot say what is my favourite part. Maybe the video conference. I can talk with my husband while at work. And at the same time share my feelings and emotions with all my friends.

MemberActually the above is not so important to all of you, but ….
Brad, I wanted to offer you to make a quiz what module users like most and find most useful. I am curious to knowJuly 27, 2004 at 7:34 pm #76445sarita

MemberHey Mon,
I am not sure how to create a Quiz, but based on the feedback we have from users the number one feature is Photo Sharing. After that it would probably be the IM and then File Sharing.

Participantbradf, could I talk to you on Qnext? I’d like to ask you a few things, so if you could PM me your UID, then that would be cool. Thanks.

MemberI just installed this about 20 minutes ago. Looks like it has alot to offer but I have 3 questions.
How do I start a chat with more than one buddy?
Can I separate my buddies into different groups, like family, friends, etc…?
Where do I find the different skins, or are there any??
Thanks!

Membercould you add a feature so that a small box pops up above the taskbar that shows when a buddy logs on. this is an excellent program you all have developed. but the fact of the matter is that in order to truly excel and attract new users this program must have at least the basic features of AIM. once you can do everything aim does, people will flock in droves. in my opinion everything else is secondary because people aren’t going to use both aim and qnext if qnext isnt satisfying their messaging needs.. i’m looking forward to future revisions. what a powerful program this will be…
by the way, how can I be sure that I have the latest update? my update button is greyed out which leads me to believe that I do.

MemberHey U4iA,
Definitely will look at having this added in, this is a great suggestion. The intention with Qnext is to make the IM functionality as good (if not better) then other clients. Lots of people are downloading Qnext for the Photo Sharing & File Sharing alone. In the next three weeks you will see lots of features added into the IM that you would expect plus some cool new services.
You are always running the most current version because when updates are available, the Qnext client will update automatically upon start-up.
Also – El Camino. Chill out ‘bro…we haven’t forgotten the Mac community, it’s just that Rome wasn’t built in a day and we won’t release a 1/2 ass version of Qnext for Mac.
BTW…check out PC World’s take on Qnext if you haven’t given it a try yet – http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/article/0,aid,117846,00.asp
