MemberYes!
Using an IM to ask stuff, and say stuff makes it oh so much easier… it also lessons embarressment when you ask the question, or recieve the answer.Geeker I was born, geeker I remain.

MemberOf course I have. I think everyone probably does to some degree. I am very shy, and quiet, and I dont like to talk, so in an IM, I can talk, alot, and never open my mouth, and I can also say what I want to say easier without turning red. I do make sure that what I say is exactly what I feel and am, cause I cant stand fake people, and I can feel a fake instantly even online.
It has also made it a bit easier to tell some jerk where to get off too, and I have enjoyed that. Some just need to know where to go. I have been known to do that face to face, but its rare.
We never lose the ones we love, we lose the person, but love never dies. 🙂

MemberI feel exactly the same way…i wouldnt say im shy or quiet, because i am quite confident but there comes a certain level where i become embarassed, so thats when instant messengers come in handy
however, even when ive wanted to ask a question, there has been the occassional time where i’ve been nervous to ask it and my finger just doesn’t want to push down on the return key!! eventually, i force myself to do it!!

Memberthe best part of saying something bad in a IM is that no one knoew who the hell u are adn the other person cant do anything about it unless the other person is a pro hacker and u know the rest.

Memberif the person has the intention, they can easily find where you live or find out who you really are…you give out sooo much information everyday without even realising…and then before you know it, some 80 year old paedophile is standing at your door
