i posted that reply ages ago…was it really worth statting that?….u seem to be posting more than us that are off topic, just telling us to stick to the topic!! if ur really that unhappy, an email wud be fine! ill try not to do it again!
October 6, 2002 at 4:58 pm #100604magistykMemberI’d suggest not telling the moderators what to do or how to do their jobs. You could have just not replied or just have replied saying that you have posted a reply to the question and that you would not do this again. Respect the moderators.
October 6, 2002 at 5:01 pm #100596rustedtightMemberPhil, the problem here is members using a thread for chat, not sticking to the topic and some on a posting rampage replying to every post made here including silly “Yes I agree” style of reply.
And yes, I would prefer it if email were used instead of a running conversation here. Clear?Follow the lead of members such as Geeker, LadyJ, Shearheaven, Melnee, friendlyfox, cindy & windaphoner…… All who replied only once. Understand?
October 6, 2002 at 5:07 pm #100607PhilMemberi meant…instead of posting in every topic saying “stick to the topic”…why not email that person to say, stop it!! not the other way round….but yeh, this is my last post on this topic and possibly the forum…
October 6, 2002 at 5:59 pm #100595rustedtightMemberCool, your now being pedantic and argumentative.
All you needed to do was accept the words in the spirit they were given. Instead you go on and on about what is a request to do what most other posters here have done, Why should you be different?
If you choose to sulk and run…. so be it.October 25, 2002 at 9:35 pm #100619audParticipantPhil, i must say, you have just scared the pants right off me with your remark on 09-24. Makes me wonder if i’ll ever use an IM again.
October 26, 2002 at 7:55 am #100606PhilMemberIt wasn’t my intention to scare…sorry…the chances of it happening are incredibly slim…all i’m saying is that you should be cautious before you blab out personal information to people you don’t know if you can trust…
October 31, 2002 at 4:17 am #100620FaizanMemberyes i have said somethings like ‘I Love U’ to someone, that i couldn’t say face to face!! lol:D
October 31, 2002 at 4:45 pm #100594Jeff HesterKeymasterYes btu only to the extent that I would of been more poliet had it been face to face. Online gives you a more leeway to say things in a different manor you can’t face to face. Plus you have the ability of the person not seeing your face so you can always say I didnt mean it that way.
November 13, 2002 at 11:28 pm #100618wisegirlMemberYes, all the time because I am much more extroverted online than in person. 🙂

February 27, 2003 at 11:14 pm #100603NathanMemberEven though I’m not a very social person I actually have an easier time talking about tough stuff in person.
April 24, 2003 at 4:57 am #100624QtKiTTiE7302MemberHaha… It is so much easier to talk on IM then it is face-to-face. Its so much less emotional if your fighting with someone, and you dont have to deal with people looking at you funny if you say something wrong. Lol. (which normally happens to me) And its also alot less embarassing!
