Yes this is one of the big benefit of IM.you can say anything.I say lots of thing which i cant say face-to-face.
Yes, I’ve said things in an IM that I’d probably never say in person. “Writing” is just so much easier in comparison to voicing thoughts. Well, at least for me. The fact that it’s anonymous doesn’t hurt either(lol).
Hell yeah i have said SoOoOoOo Much stuff on AIM that i would have never said to people face to face! its much easier that way! just like its easier to write someone a letter than to say it all to their face..this way you can word it correctly and if you mess up..thatz what the backspace button is for! you cant take back words

I think it’s so much easier for you to say it through IM then talking face to face or even on the fone cos you don’t need to get an immediate answer or reaction from that person…
im shy but why say things to ppl youd never say to them in person is’nt that kinda silly??everything I type into im’s I can easily say in public….my personal fav is when I tell the stupid trolls off…heeheehee
thats kinda silly dont ya think??i can easily say what ive typed into an im to someone face to face and im a very shy person.my point is why even type something u personally dont have the guts to say in the first place…why type it at all??
yes i have said “things” especially to ppl that im me first and start grilling me w/questions bout my life, my family and naughty things. thats y i made the name rude_ppl_suk. lol
i said yes. i told my friend who i want 2 go outwith and next time the guy i like signs on AIM im goin to try to tell him that i like him. i could never do that in person because its really scary in person. plus, if something you say on IM that you want to take back, you can just say that your brother or friend or sister (etc.) typed it and you didnt mean it:)
personally, whatever I want or need to say I say it the same in person or in IM. Certainly it’s not with everyone. It depends on the relationship that I have with that person. But certainly whatever I say in an IM is because I would say it in person.
Yes…and believe me I wish I could go back and change it! I write true crime and am a member of Crime and Criminals Yahoo Group. I was chatting with a lady…not knowing who she was. She ask me what I thought of (lets just say a well known serial killer) and I told her…exactly!!! Come to find out, she was his wife. They were married after he was convicted. I’m sure she wasn’t very happy with my answer. She said she had to go and left the chat rather quickly. I guess sometimes you get what you ask for…and she ask…I did feel bad about it though.
yeah i’ve said stuff online that i’d never say to the person’s face… its just easier when you can be all pissed off and still tell someone exactly what you’re thinking, cause a lot of times you chicken out when it comes to actually telling someone off
