And if you ahve problems with signing back on.. what I did was make another extra screen name, load your normal buddylist onto it.. and do it with that. That way you can still be on and stuff, since it’s a kind of slow program.
March 1, 2004 at 1:03 am #83873EvanMemberhm I am still getting that
March 1, 2004 at 1:09 am #83857DavidParticipantCopy the ritchtx32.ocx to c:windowssystem32 then:
Start -> Run regsvr32 “c:WINDOWSsystem32ritchtx32.ocx”

is it safe to do that? (just making sure) I dont want to screw anything up
March 1, 2004 at 1:44 am #83884panickedthumbMemberyeah all it does is register the rich text control. It’s fine.
March 1, 2004 at 11:04 pm #83878bjiggaMemberGreat idea for a program…But I guess I’m slow ’cause I’m having problems. I ran it and opened it. 1) The “buddylist” is blank…so no one on by buddy list is invisible??? 2) I did the run thing with the RegSvr32 and got this message…
No DLL name specified.
Usage:regsvr32[/u][/s][/n][/i[:cmdline]] dllname
/u-Unregistered Server
/s-Silent;Display no message boxes
/i-Call DllInstall passing it an optional [cmdline]; when used with
/u calls dll uninstall
/n- do not call DllRegisterServer; this option must be used with /iSo what did I do wrong…Lemme know…Thanks
March 1, 2004 at 11:27 pm #83856DavidParticipantIf it runs, you don’t need to register the OCX
Let it run for about 10mins, it’s not fast because if commands are sent too fast AOL stop allowing them. This simulates you viewing the profile of everyone on your list.

You must download the file and specify the complete path to it.
EDIT: Ah, David didn’t see your post… second page.
March 1, 2004 at 11:32 pm #83877bjiggaMemberOK, I’ll try that, I forgot to put this question with my last post, sry. When I sign in on the program I get booted off AIM…Why? Can you not be signed in at two placed anymore???

Because AOL is retarded. ;), you need to make a second screen name and load the list from your primary name into it.
March 2, 2004 at 3:37 am #83886panickedthumbMemberYou CAN still be signed in at two places, but not with this.
March 27, 2004 at 10:56 pm #83883t0rtleMemberSo if it’s blank the whole time, does that mean no one on the list is invisible?
March 27, 2004 at 11:06 pm #83854DavidParticipantNo, you probably are not logged in, if you don’t see ‘Logged into AOL as ScreenName’ then you need to reconnect.
March 28, 2004 at 1:43 am #83882t0rtleMemberThat’s what I get every time I sign in to it. Just a window which says “Online” at the top and is blank. Is there anything else I have to do?
March 28, 2004 at 2:14 am #83853DavidParticipantYou just wait, and after about 10 Min’s (It’s less if you have less than 200 buddies) and it should display all the users that are online, even if they are invisible. You cannot sign into AIM after you sign into this though.
