ParticipantSami… you don’t prefer “Take Off Your Clothes” to “Nth Degree” ? =P
Oh, and my other big kicks right now are Abandoned Pools (alt rock-ish) and Morcheeba (ambient trip-hop).

MemberI’m listening to the seminal Isley Brothers album 3+3, from 1973.
What a rousing classic this is, containing the unforgettable That lady and Summer breeze, but also lesser known gems like If you were there and Sunshine [go away today] which shows Ronald Isley’s attitude to paying hefty taxes towards the Viet Nam war would be just as relevant today: “You can’t run your own life/I’ll be damned if you’re gonna run mine!”
Brilliant stuff.

ParticipantV:cool:VI am listening to Tone Loc’s “Funky Cold Medina”.“So I gave some to my dog, when he began to beg.
Then he licked his bowl and he looked at me and did the wild thang on my leg.
He use to scratch and bite me, before he was much much meaner.
But now all the poodles run to my house for the funky cold medina”That is art, man!:cool:What can I say ….I love cheesy 80’s hip hop.:pNovember 1, 2007 at 8:46 pm #119057sarahtowny

ParticipantI’ve been alternately listening to Seether’s new album Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces or Motion City Soundtrack’s new album Even If It Kills Me, depending on my mood and the situation.

ParticipantCurrently rocking some of the more industrial (but not quite) techno, particularly Andy Hunter’s “Life” album. The track “Come On” is… amazing. I’ve still got Fluke on the list though.

ParticipantBack to listening to a lot of Massive Attack’s stuff, especially their “Mezzanine” and “Collected” albums.
The woman who lives downstairs from me talks really loudly on her phone all the time – so when I’m trying to sleep, I hook my iPod to the stereo, put both in a 60-minute sleep mode, and drift off. Massive Attack nicely covers the ruckus while being smooth enough to lull you into sleep.
