Just got done with “Silver and Cold” by AFI
At the moment, I have “Hey There Delilah” by the Plain White T’s.
Next is “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” by Meatloaf.I like variety.
Listening to some Stacey Kent. Cool, swinging jazz. Nice change of pace.
I’m listening to “Makes me wonder” by Maroon 5.
Next is “Rehab” by Amy Winehouse.
After that is “Say anything(Else)” by Cartel.Then, “What I’ve Done” by Linkin Park.
Oh jiminy cricket, they just did a contest between Rehab and…something else I forget on my local station…something by kelly clarkson. I kind of wanted to take a corkscrew to my eardrum.
No offence! Just reminded me. Sat here for a good three minutes trying to remember why I knew that title and name.
The Dead Flag Blues, by Godspeed You! Black Emperor off their album f#a#infinity. Actually this whole album is amazing, and I don’t know why I haven’t listened to it lately.

The only reason why I downloaded it really was because I never heard it before, and my friends where “raving” about it and told me to download it.
The Singer of “Rehab” (Amy Winehouse) has a voice that is so deep it reminds me of a chain smoker…so I can see why it got annoying to you! :p
It’s not my favorite song …But has good instrumentals though, in my opinion.

Oh, and I was just at a Silversun Pickups concert on Friday… FANTASTIC show. They sound exactly like they do on the CD.

As for me, lately I’ve just been listening to my regular electronica/vocal-trance stuff.
However, one artist I would really like to spread the word about is Amethystium. The band’s sole member is a guy from Norway, who makes really awesome and pretty new-age/electronic music. Mixes of fantastical melodies, gregorian chants, and occassional female vocals tend to paint castles and rainy european landscapes in my mind. I may seem to be over-exaggerating, but basically it’s just beautiful music, but not the same kind of beautiful that people always think of.
For anyone who’s interested, check out Emblem, which is a good compilation of his best songs so far.
