I was quite surprised to find a lot more Menu Items missing in Yahoo Messenger 6.0 Build 1671. If you look below you will see what was missing.
Buddy List Menu Items!
Edit Contact Details *
Invite To View My Webcam *
View Shared Files *
View Webcam *Chat Room Menu Items!
Invite to Chat * (This don’t seem to of been added to the new builds due to Yahoo not Implementing it.
Favourite Rooms *

Edit Favourites *I have managed to add all this back into YIM 6.0 Build 1671 especially the Favourite Room Menu Items which would allow you to add the room to your Favourites and Edit them as well. I successfully added that back for you and all the missing Menu Items in the Buddy List Window.
I could not add Invite to chat as this is a problem I can’t yet solve. Hopefully Chet Simpson may be able to come up with a Fix * for that in his builds of Y Tunnel Pro.

when I updated using the shiftthis version …after logging in I had a dozen or so people in my address book who I do not know… and after deleting them all it then deleted the friend who I did have…. i’ll go check another id see if the same thing happens

Last night someone messaged me on yahoo and all of a sudden it wouldn’t let me type to them.. I was able to type a status on my yahoo messenger list itself , but in the actual message box he was typing to me in it would NOT let me type to him..
After I rebooted, I got back and signed on and was then able to type to him the rest of the night with no problem.. Any idea what might have caused this?

yes your PC may of required a reboot to complete the install I have had the same problem.
And the Address book problem seems weird what sort of names was they on your Address book ?

well they didn’t show up initially under the “messenger” friends, but they were there when I opened the address book. about a dozen names… if I can remember I think one was “queenofhearts?”, maybe a “Sue” and “Mom” …i’m english I don’t use the word “Mom”, and my mother is not in my contacts anyway.

VB… I downloaded the first packet you had and it worked fine. Im using the version 1643, will this new dll patch work the version im using or do I need to download the higher version?
NO! – I recommend you Upgrade to Yahoo Messenger build 1671 and install the latest patch found at http://www.chat-help.co.uk or click shiftlers banner a updated one is at his site too both same files if you install the latest update on build 1643 it wont work I will however make a major change soon to this when I have completed my other projects I am working on!
The new Yahoo Build http://download.yahoo.com/dl/installs/ymsgr/ymsgr_1710.exe has not effected the Res MSGR Update as I know so far but if anyone gets a problem with it be sure to let me know I am also experiencing a problem adding the Favorite rooms to the main messenger window so that update could take a little more time ! Y Tunnel Pro yet has to be updated due to the IM Class – stupid chat adverts etc .
A new update will be coming over the next 24 hours for Res MSGR Builds 1671 – 1710 this update will include bug layout in the view section of the main messenger Menu it will also include several new changes which I will post here later. If there is anything that you think needs to be sorted then please add the information here and I will have it fixed for the next update if I can add it * Also I will say to you that other changes will be made which I am not going to say just yet what they are!

Changed a few Captions here and there *— More Updates being Added —
