Was aMSN you where using? There is also a windows-version of that program 🙂 And Gaim can also show you who has blocked you.

To change your country in .net passport settings, go to https://accountservices.passport.net/ppnetworkhome.srf?vv=400&lc=1061I’m using too v 6.2 ,I think it’s the best version of MSN. And disabling all ‘bells and whistles’ from WLM won’t make it to use less RAM.
The offline message alert comes up, when someone has sent to you offline message from WLM. I don’t know, how to disable this 🙁 I usually log in with MSN 7.5 when I get those messages and read them, then change back to 6.2 again.
Just copying those emoticons to that folder won’t help, they will not show up on MSN. You need to back up your emoticons so you can restore them if needed. There is program you can download here http://www.baisoft.it/msnbackup_english.asp
If you have Plus! installed, it can log all changes in personal messages, so you can see the messages there. It’s not the fix ofcourse, but at least you can see the messages.
Well, if you don’t want to communicate with this person anyway – you said you deleted him – why to worry about he’s being blocked :confused: Just leave the address at block list.

But just minutes after, i did a test. for the email, you are correct. it says that it has been delted. and to reactivate, to click soe link. so, i agree with this portion.then i tried logging into my MSN messeger. and it let me in, with all my contacts still in place. any advice?
Just delete all your contacts and do not login to msn with this account if you don’t wanna use it anymore. What’s so complicated about it? :confused: Or go to your .net passport settings, put yourselt as US sitizen and change your age to 2 years old or something, then it will not let you in anymore, saying you are too young to use msn 😀When someone is on the mobile and you write to the person, you will get automated text in convo-window, saying it. If he/she is using MDX, you will not get that message 🙂
Try to do complite uninstall, removing msn also from registry and deleting content in C:Documents and Settings[User]Application DataMicrosoftMSN Messenger. What version msn are you using? Do you get any errors? You might want to downgrade and see if you can use previous version.
