ParticipantCould be your Internet Explorer settings. Try setting everything to default and lowering the security setting just to see.
You can also try it using Firefox. http://www.mozilla.org/

ParticipantUse google toolbar for Internet Explorer. Or if you want to actually experience the web without having your system infested with spyware, try using Firefox.

ParticipantMmm… That’s a difficult one…
Perhaps you can gradually trim down the amount of time you see her.

ParticipantFrom his post I gathered he was talking about 2 different girlfriends at different times. Yeah, love is tough. But just hang in there. 🙂

ParticipantI am sorry, but there is no way any XBox Live enabled game would function correctly on a dial-up connection (Even if you got it to connect)

ParticipantWell, have you checked out your Modem Router Company’s website and looked up to see if they have any updated firmware for you to install?

ParticipantI suggest you invest in another web browser besides Internet Explorer. The alternatives really shine these days. Try Firefox. http://www.mozilla.org
To fix your IE problem, you should do this:
1. Do you update your virus scanner every week? If not, you may be infected with viruses. No need to worry. If you’re not sure, you can get a free scan online to check your PC for viruses: http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm2. Is your PC running sluggish? Are you getting popup ads frequently? You may have something called spyware or adware on your system. These things are on the verge of being viruses and can ruin a PC if left unchecked.
There are some programs to check for this. I will show you the easiest one to use. It is called “Ad-Aware” it will scan your computer much like a virus scanner. (Most virus scanners do not detect adware/spyware.)
-Get Ad-Aware program here: http://fileforum.betanews.com/download/965718306/1
Note: When installing Ad-Aware, leave all the options checked. It will need to update itself and perform a system scan after installation.
Ad-Aware will scan and show you the number of objects it found in your system. (I want you to let me know how many it picked up) When it’s finished, clicked the Next button. It will take you to the list of objects it found. From here, right click on any item and click the “Select All Objects” option. Once everything is selected, click the NEXT button. A confirmation dialog box will pop up asking if you want to confirm removing the spyware/adaware objects. Go ahead and click OK. It should be finished, go ahead and exit the Ad-Aware program.

ParticipantKevin and Alex from G4 Tech TV’s The Screen Savers met with the CEO of freeipods.com and it really does work. (If you sign up for an offer, and get 5 friends to sign up for an offer).

ParticipantWould it be possible there are some updated drivers available from the manufacturer’s website?
AnimeUSA
ParticipantYep, go to your accounts and highlight the service you want, click modify/edit. You should see the buddy icon chooser.

ParticipantI ran into this problem a long time ago, too. I just had to deal with it and go directly to the folder the shortcut was pointing to. A shame, because Yahoo Messenger does it correctly but MSN does not.
