I agree that it is a bug.
We also get error messages when we try to connect. I’m running ME and my friend is using XP, when I try to invite them to a webcam session I get a message that says “person you are trying to connect with is not running WEbcam fo MSN Messenger”.
If they try to invite me, I get the message, “you must be running XP to accept viodeo from this person”I’m running Messenger 5.0 and I downloaded Logitech Webcam, but have not been able to get it to work. In addition, if I invite someone who is running XP, I get a message taht says ” you must be running XP to use video” (I’m running ME).
Anyone get Webcam to work with Messenger 5.0?
So, can you suggest an add-on the will let me use my web cam for video confrencing?
I have tried Webcam for MSN messenger by Logitech, but it does not work?
