umm, huh?… are you referring to my Smiley program?… and if so, what about it?… use Winzip to Extract the installer… Run the Installer… (you’ll error out if you don’t have Microsofts .Net Framework 1.1 )… and then Double-Click on the Icon on your desktop… the program should open up…

… fix the manifest file… and then reload it, or just physicall edit the one stored in the AIMresources folder

Sorry man if you’re on 56k… but you need to redownload it. I just checked and it works fine. The next version I’m working on let’s you “install” the smileys you want to use… therefore a MUCH thinner program… okay, good luck with it this time around… oh and you MUST have the .Net Framework 1.1 to make this work… you’ll get an error, so go ahead and install it from microsoft…
lol, sorry… you the soundset is fine, nothing gets changed unless you go through and save… when you double-click on a *.arf, it loads into MY program not AIM… (also, you can right-click on an expression to extract it into a directory… my favorite part of the program)… anyways, when you “open” an expression into XXM it makes a copy of said expression… and by leaving the sound set blank, it deafults to using the normal sounds… sorry for the mix-up… be sure to read the Help file to get a list of features.
yeah, sorry about the “space in the title” problem… but it leads to problems compiling the theme sometimes, when you try to save it… When I get the time, that’ll be the first thing I look at, as well as trying to crack the whole AIM Smilie thing… glad to hear it works on other people’s comps… holla

Strictly for newbies… but I made a program a while ago to compile and preview AIM Expressions… you can take a look at it at http://expression.home.attbi.com/ … for those used to making expressions manually, you can still use this program to preview what it would look like before making it. Also, you can add your own custom sounds to add a soundset to your expression. Oh, and I added a transparency function so you can “dim” out those watermarks (for those people without Photoshop)…
