hi sunflowers….no they dont know my id. i tried it like 3 or 4 times and each time as soon as i got into room they got out….i dont make a habit of following a user as i know it can be creepy and or annoying….just saw someones id. that i think is pretending to be someone else and wanted to try to find out.
LOL…….doug i think migs is telling you that it is not condoned on this site, so you will not get help with that kind of thing here.
i have found that if i try the invite to conference, it always opens the conference window, i never get an error message, now sometimes the person i am checking on will click the decline invite button and ill get a message showing this, which tells me they are online and invisible, but sometimes i get NO message…..what would that mean? can they just close the invite window without clicking on accept OR decline?? and then i wouldnt get any message?
well mine changed as of yesterday….lol weird…..the only thing i did differently is had to reload my aol software because of a virus or something that caused a corrupt file, but yahoo shouldnt have changed right? the layout of the profiles is totally different…..i know they had changed it maybe 4 months ago or so….but mine are all different as of yesterday.
backing up to johnsons post…..what is this program and is it still available to detect someones alias names and ip address if they were online???

no i didnt email……just sent IM’s or invited to conference then i deleted the alias name, but can someone track that alias name back to my IP after i have deleted it?
on this same subject…..what if the person is truely offline and you send an invite to conference……will they see it when they sign on again? like an offline message??
hi cupcake!……does it show your friend as online in profile if they are offline on your buddy list? At first i thought they were on invisible and didnt want to talk to me or something but when i check the profile say 5 times in a row…it shows something like online, online, offline, online, online, offline its really wacky….do u think its a glitch in the new yahoo messenger?

hi lilliany……i experienced the same thing…..this friend of mine just started using the new yahoo messenger 7.0 and since then when he appears offline to me in messenger if i look at his profile it says online, the reason i think there is some sort of problem or yahoo glitch is that in the profile it is basically on 24/7 showing online, if i check profile say 5 times one right after the other it goes from offline to online to offline etc…. doesnt make much sense.
