I have the exact same problem and have tried every solution i can think of. My only solution was to download the AIM 6.0 beta. The problem seems to have been fixed, however, since it is a beta there are some functions that dont work correctly and there is no file transfer or direct connection.
Im, having troubles logging in to AIM beta. The program worked fine the first day but now once i enter in my information and press enter is just freezes up. I have to go in through task manger and kill it. Anyone else getting this problem. (and yes, i realize its beta, i just have so many problems with AIM 5.9 logging on and off every 10 mins i would love to avoid that with beta)
I have the exact same problem. Its been happening to me for months now, and ive tried EVERYTHING to fix it. Its been a pain since the start. The only solution ive come up with is to just log off when im not using AIM. If anyone knows anything im willing to try it.
