MemberMessenger:Mate for MSNM v1.5.1 works flawlessly with this new version of MSNM, 7.5. The people that create Messenger:Mate just released an awesome new version with tons of new features.
Here’s the website:

MemberA program called Messenger:Mate has an option to disable the AIM Today window upon sign on, but will still allow the AIM Today window to display when links such as SmartProfiles are clicked.

MemberI’m using M:M with the AIM beta and it works flawlessly!

MemberI just signed up on my own. Really cheap.

MemberAlso they look more like tabs instead of a list. Much more like other add-ons. With the customization they look awesome!

MemberMiddle_Man doesn’t work with AIM 5.9 and the guy that was making the instant idler programs quit for some reason. Right now the only way you can instant idle with AIM 5.9 is by using Messenger:Mate. Messenger:Mate also adds tons of other great features.

MemberI don’t know if anyone has mentioned this, but Messenger:Mate’s tabbed IM window interface received a complete overhaul making it better and more customizable than ever.

MemberI just bought this. Amazing! Wow, this is a lot better than Messenger Plus. After I installed Messenger Plus, my ad-watch started going hay-wire.

MemberI voted DeadAIM because the support is awful and there are NO updates whatsoever. Waste of $5. Not to mention they ban anyone that speaks of any other comparable AIM add-ons.

MemberWait, does Messenger Plus! have a tab manager? Or themes (skinning)? That’s right; it doesn’t!
Oh but Messenger Plus! does have adware / malware / spyware. That certainly puts it in the number one spot of Messenger add-ons.
Not to mention, after you run all the addons/patches you mention as an alternative to Messenger:Mate, MSN Messenger would be as stable as a drunken sailor on a saturday night and use about 50mb of memory, but that’s all good, because they are FREE. Wow, let’s all be cheap!

MemberYou guys, don’t use Messenger Plus. Messenger:Mate for MSN has all of the features of messenger plus, and more. Check out Messenger:Mate for MSN Messenger at http://www.versoworks.com/mm – I use it and I can definitely tell you that it is a lot better than Messenger Plus.

MemberSoftware piracy is illegal and you are pathetic for asking for a five dollar program.

Memberdetn8r wrote:Oh, and for the fact, messenger:mate for MSN Messenger was also accused of stealing coding as well. So, before you go off and prasing M:M, know that they were in that circle as well.I don’t doubt your statements, but can you post links or further information?
