Have you logged into any yahoo website and didn’t sign out but just ” x ” ‘ ed out of it? If so, sometimes yahoo will keep you logged in . What I suggest is using that id to log into another yahoo web-site and this time log out . See if it logs you off.

Have you tried updating your java ? I noticed when I reformatt my computer when my java isn’t up to date I have trouble accessing it. Do you have a pop up blocker blocking your access to it ? Are you getting any kind of error message with it ?
I’m not an expert but if you could give me a little more information then i will try to help you out.

Yahoo messenger has a game prowler that can be enabled through yahoo messenger. It gives the owner the choice to be ” seen in yahoo games or not. Assuming, they have you as a friend on yahoo messenger, you will be able to see them.
However, if your friend or the person you are looking for doesn’t have it enabled chances are they are NOT wanting you or ” that particular friend ” to find them . And hunting them down boarders on stalking to me.
A simple ” hey where are you ? ” does the trick just fine.

This is just a suggestion but my 12 year old is not allowed to listen to anything but radio disney. They have artists like Avril Lavine, Kelly Clarkson, Usher, Lindsey Lohan and Raven.
There are several issues you need to consider. What kind of music do they like? Rap, Pop, Country? Are you trying to avoid songs with suggestive lyrics or curse words?
If you are looking for something that doesn’t have ” suggestive ” lyrics but are up-to-date songs You might try something like Disney Mania 3 or such. My daughter was upset until she found out the artists and the songs they play on disney radio . She realized it is the music she likes to listen to .

Milton, I just upgraded to 512 Ram.. until a few days ago I had 256 Ram.

You were right about the cd being bad. I talked to the instant support for my computer. And after much questioning on my part they told me that it is indeed a bad block and Not a bad cd rom( thank goodness) . Also they sent me a link for updated firmware( which I also had to question) seems they had a little trouble finding out what kind of cd rom I have. After much guessing on their part and my chewing them out we finally got to the bottom of it. So now I can get the correct firmware.

Making a new account isn’t so bad sarah, the way the email address books are set up now a days you can always transfer your contact list or save them and import them to a new address. Fairly simple really just takes a little reading. But if you like your privacy its well worth the time.

I am going to take a stab at helping you solve your problem. It sounds to me like you sent your friend the direct link to your inbox instead of sending them the link for the one e-mail.
I do not know if you can send a link for Just one e-mail but here is my suggestion. Open the email you wish to send to the friend. When it is open go to file at the top of your explorer , click save as. You want to save that email as a text file. Save it to a destination you will remember. You also have the option to name it something different instead of msn email message ( I suggest you do this for location convience) Now you have the choice to e-mail the friend and send it as an attachment in a NEW e-mail or you have the choice to send it as a file through yahoo messenger so on and so forth.
The only problem I see is your privacy has now been breeched and my suggestion to you is make a NEW e-mail address and start over. As long as this ” friend ” has that link he / she will forever be able to get into your inbox.

Thanks for the help tiger, The ccapp is my NIS2004 I did underline the csrss as an example because I’ve ran into multiple apps that say that .. frankly it scares me but if they Have to be there in order for my system to run I have no choice. I will go to blackviper and check out the services guide.
As far as ad-aware, spybot and hijackthis I’ve ran those on many occassions and they don’t seem to come up with anything out of the ordinary . I try to limit what I download because I do not want to be overloaded with spyware.

Yes but Prince the only problem with outlook confirmation is the person recieving the email has the option to confirm or not. Meaning if they do not wish for you to know they got your mail all they have to do is say no and you still won’t have any idea that they opened it .
Thank you everyone! I have read all of your posts and I am reporting it to the web police and to abuse at yahoo.. I still seem to think he might be tracking me through my yahoo messenger or something because I was so scared I went out and bought a new computer just to see if that would get rid of him and it worked for all of about 2 hours.. Then he was right in my face again.. I know this sounds really strange but I opened up a notepad page and I told him that he has succeeded in making me leave the net but that by doing so I was going to the police and pressing charges on him.. I am to scared to go back to yahoo games to find out what reaction he will come up with next..
I still have no idea if he is being malicious or if he ( not sounding stuck on myself) if he is just infatuated .. I am pretty sure it is a grown man.. since I do not talk to young men or children on the net and the women friends I have on here would not do anything like this .. at least I am comfortable in saying I feel they would not..
I appreciate all of your help in this matter and thank you for being so kind and not thinking I’m crazy .. I did think I was for about two weeks until my family witnessed the things he was doing.. I honestly dont feel anyone has the right to make a person this miserable even if it is only a computer..
feel_the_rythm I appreciate your comments but other than telling him that I will press charges I am scared to talk to him and/or anyone else.. because of him I have stopped talking to anyone I used to talk to on here for fear that it might be one of them( thats how much this person appears to know me) and as far as finding out what he wants I really dont want to encourage him or make him think by talking to him that I accept what he is doing and it is alright with me… Because its not I am not this scared in the real world and never in my life thought someone could do this on a computer ..
When I made my new id .. I didnt even have time to tell anyone . Within 10 minutes of making it .. He knew it and was starting to harrass me on it also.. and that was done ( making the id ) by a computer expert at road runner and 2 wire.. my isp..Again I thank everyone for their suggestions and comments and I am taking action now.. I am sorry to burden you with all of this but I had no where else to turn and thought your expertise would come in handy and it has.. At least now I feel I have some options ..
