MemberDr. Kimble,
On Aim Express when you receive a new message you should see the ~~~~~~~~~ before the person’s name..that’s how you know you’ve got incoming….deanna7564
Memberthis is great, thank you and thanks for the tip 🙂

MemberDo you know if Beenut has transparency levels like Trillian does? I love that I can have it blend into my background and no one knows I’m chatting!

MemberHe’s a consultant, we don’t have onsite f/t support. He just did a log of what was on each machine then cleaned them..so I want to make sure the same name doesnt show up.

MemberThanks, but this person doesn’t want me to find out anything about them. I doubt they’d fall for that.
deanna7564
MemberExcept that the very first one I received was AFTER Feb 14. So that doesn’t make much sense.

MemberEh…that didn’t work at all. All it did was give me a severly old version of AIM. I still couldn’t im the person….and since she doesn’t know about the name I’m using..I know it’s not that she has me blocked.

MemberCan you make one of these for Yahoo?

This guy has you guys stumped huh? 🙂

MemberI just deleted it less than a week ago, he didn’t recreate it. They don’t allow them back into circulation that quickly.
Besides, I’ve done this in the past, and when I did recreate a name that was deleted, I didn’t receive the emails that had gone to that name during the “down time”.
I have changed all of my email accounts and have set up very difficult passwords, in different languages.
I’m putting this issue to rest. If he’s that good..then he deserves to be able to get into the accounts.
deanna7564
MemberIt was nothing like that, I deactivated the account myself.

MemberI have a way I can trace his IP if I can get him to click my aim profile…however, I know he logs in using AIM Express…so when I log into AE I look at my profile..and the link doesn’t show in my profile..
Any ideas?

MemberI deactivated the account. You can do that on Yahoo. It’s not like AOL/AIM where the name stays out there forever.

MemberOkay, apparently you guys assume I’m an idiot of some kind…my husband is an IT programmer so our computers all have top of the line anti-virus and firewall protection. The email account that was affiliated with the AIM s/n was deleted the last time this guy (who has been pulling this for 4 years now) got into my accounts.
I don’t even have a way to retreive my password from an email account so I sincerely doubt he’s figured out a way to.
In the past he’s claimed to have some sort of program that allows him to guess ANYONE’s password. Someone asked if he had chatted w/anyone on my list and the answer is yes. That’s how I knew he had been on my s/n because he was talking to my best friend and she knew the difference. Yesterday, he proceeded to hack into her yahoo and aol messengers.
I guess he does have a program.

MemberI only use AIM, I don’t have an email affiliated with it.
Any other thoughts?
